Hydraulic Drum Riser
Client: Slipknot
Project Description: A custom drum riser featuring Vision Fab’s OmniTilt hydraulic system which makes the drum kit capable of extreme positioning in both horizontal and vertical directions.
Details: Custom drums were fabricated from cold rolled steel and kick bars were added to allow radical and agressive movements by the artist during performance.
The riser base was fabricated from diamond plate steel and featured removable dollies for quick and easy transport.
Operation was done via a remote tech position with integrated safety controls.
